Adult Ministries

Sunday Morning Adult Discipleship

 Sundays, 9:15m – 10:15am.

This multi-generation class has a unique opportunity to study the Bible together to learn from God’s Word, share personal insights, and learn from one another. This year’s focus will be a deep dive into the life, teachings, & sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Particular attention will be paid to Jesus birth & growth, His early ministry, His miracles, His teachings & experiences, and finally His last week & post resurrection appearances. Our experienced teachers will lead each class in a study of God’s Word and engage in large and small group discussions. This is a great way to dig into scripture surrounding our Lord and Savior as well as connect and grow in fellowship with others at our church. What better way to know what we believe, why we believe it, and how we can share it with others!

Connecting People to Life in Jesus through Life Groups

Through Life Groups you are invited to share the love, truth, and hope that come to all through faith in Jesus Christ. Life Groups exist to nurture that relationship with Jesus Christ and to help grow His disciples. Growing in a caring Life Group community setting with Christ at the center can be transforming!

There are three areas of emphasis for each Life Group:

  • Connecting with Family— Life Groups are where Christ-centered love and care for one another happens.  These are friends that you can grow, laugh, and serve with.
  • Connecting with God—Through reading and discussing the Bible, the group grows in discipleship, growing as Jesus’ disciples in everyday life. – Through prayer and worship the group connects with God and expresses care for one another.
  • Connecting with Community—Life Groups are encouraged to be purposeful in outreach by serving the physical, emotional, or spiritual needs of others. Service projects can be done by the group together or by individuals in their normal everyday life situations.

If you would like to get connected with a Life Group please contact the church office at contactus@goblc.org.

Mom’s Connection
Our mission is connecting moms with infant and school-aged children to life in Jesus through Biblical teach and support.  We strive to connect moms to life in Jesus by providing Biblica guidelines for raising their children, enhanced personal relationships, individual spiritual growth, Christian fellowship and support for each other and a mission opportunity to invite friends.

Mom’s Connection is a Biblically-based parenting program designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women in their relationships with their husbands and children. Together we share laughter, joy, tears and frustration all within a safe environment that is centered on the Bible.
