Student Ministry

Students in grades 6-12th

Students in 6th-12th grades join together in communities to form relationships through which they are able to grow in their understanding of faith and who Jesus is to them. Students in grades 6-8th are led by small group leaders around topics that are relevant and relational. Likewise highschool students meet in the same way focusing on scripture and its application in today’s world. Students are encouraged to grow in their faith through service projects and mission experiences.

9:15am - 10:15am
Our middle school (grades 6th - 8th) and high school (grades 9th-12th) ministries meet every Sunday for fellowship, games, time in scripture, and prayer. This is our primary time to connect with students and help them grow as disciples.

Each month, there will be a fellowship event or service project for each age group. These events are designed to help students connect with their peers and adult mentors. Events are often the environment where students will walk into our ministry for the very first time.

Tradition of Testimonies

A testimony is the sharing of what God has done and continues to do in your life. At Brookfield Lutheran, Students in 5th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grade have been encouraged to reflect on their faith and share their testimonies with family and friends since 2003. As students mature in their faith they have the opportunity to share what Jesus means to them through a public statement which prepares them for real-life conversations. We hope that they inspire YOU to create and share your own testimony with others!

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
